Connie Ross

Honours Student, Inflammasome Lab

Connie completed her Bachelor of Science at The University of Queensland in June 2016, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She first joined the Inflammasome lab for a short research project in Summer 2013-2014 and again in Winter 2015, assisting Alina Zamoshnikova and Caroline Holley in flow cytometry-based assays for inflammasome activation. She is currently undertaking research towards her Honours degree.

I have had a lifelong passion for discovery, and I find the intricate puzzle of molecular mechanisms and machinery interesting and intriguing. I look forward to trying to solve some of the "puzzles of life" for myself, and in the process, finding ways to put that knowledge to use.
