Research Assistant, Inflammasome Lab

 

 

 

Grace completed a Bachelor of Science and Arts (Biomedical Science, Psychology, and Writing) from the University of Queensland in 2017. In the year following, Grace was awarded first class honours for her work on macrophage antimicrobial pathways in the Sweet lab (Institute for Molecular Bioscience, IMB). Grace first joined the Inflammasome Lab as a Research Assistant in 2019 and began her PhD in April 2020. Her project investigates the role of mitochondrial dynamics and the inflammasome in Parkinson’s disease pathology.
