This month the Inflammasome Lab welcomes Dr Stefan Emming to the group! Stefan comes to us from Switzerland and joins the lab as a Postdoc to research the molecular mechanisms underpinning inflammasome activation.
We are excited to welcome Dr Sabrina Burgener to the Inflammasome Lab! Sabrina joins us from Switzerland, and is interested in understanding how inflammasome effector functions in neutrophils and macrophages drive inflammatory diseases.
In April this year the Inflammasome Lab had the pleasure of welcoming Mark Milner to the group. Mark joins the lab for his PhD and will explore the importance of inflammasome activation in Alzheimer's disease.
The Inflammasome Lab is sad to say goodbye to the amazing Rebecca Coll but thrilled that she is starting a new position as a Lecturer and Lab Head at Queens University Belfast.
This year we welcome Madhavi (Madi) Maddugoda to the Inflammasome Lab. Madi returns to Brisbane from Sydney to work part-time in our lab as a science writer and illustrator.
