Byron commences his Honours!

After having completed two short research projects in the Inflammasome Lab, Byron Mobbs still hasn’t had enough!!! In 2023, Byron commenced his honours project seeking to further characterise NLRP3 inflammasome signalling during candida albicans infection, and how inflammasome inhibitors may affect fungal burden, under the supervision of Sabrina Sofia Burgener.

We look forward to welcoming Byron back for the year!

End of year update: Wow! Byron’s research received the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence Award!! Congratulations Byron!
