Inflammasome Lab

 

 

Jared joined the Inflammasome Lab in 2019 for an undergraduate research project. In 2021, he undertook an Honours project that explored the hyperactivation mechanisms of NLRP3, the catalyst for a group of rare but severe genetic autoinflammatory diseases, and investigated novel small molecule inhibitors to treat such diseases. Jared’s research earned him a First Class Honours. Jared is now a research assistant and looks forward to soon commencing a PhD in the Inflammasome Lab.
