Inflammasome Lab group leader Kate Schroder is a well-deserved Winner of the Excellence in Science Award category in the 2022 Women in Technology (WiT) Awards.

Kate's outstanding contribution to scientific excellence and advocacy for equity, diversity and inclusion in academia is recognised by this win.  

UQ Faculty of Science article "The annual WiT Awards recognise outstanding talent and achievement giving women the recognition they deserve, building support for their work, and inspiring the next generation of leaders by showing what is possible."
