Welcome Xiaohui Wang - 2021 PhD student!

The Inflammasome Lab is thrilled to welcome our newest PhD student Xiaohui Wang. Xiaohui joins as part of the Labzin Team. Welcome Xiaohui!

Xiaohui's Bio: Xiaohui completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Queensland in 2019. In 2020, Xiaohui was awarded first class honours in the field of microbiology/virology. During her Honours project, Xiaohui investigated the role of flavivirus subgenomic RNA in virus-host interactions. ABOUT Inflammasome Lab

Inflammasome Lab is a group of researchers led by Prof Kate Schroder at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland.
We seek to unravel the secrets of inflammasomes – protein complexes at the heart of inflammation and disease – to allow for new therapies to fight human diseases.
